Safety is often at the forefront of anyone's mind when it comes to choosing a holiday destination.
Countries such as Turkey and Egypt, which were once top tourist destination for Britons, have struggled since suffering from terrorist attacks in recent years.
Whilst airlines begin to reintroduce flights to the popular destinations, there are still many on the list that are considered too dangerous to travel to.
Yemen
Whilst popular for a holiday due to Sana’a, the largest city in the country, being a UNESCO World Heritage site, it is still considered one of the most dangerous places to travel to.
The instability in the country threatens travellers, with HolidayPirates Sam Katterfield warning “frequent kidnappings and terrorist attacks” take place in Yemen.
The FCO advise against all travel to Yemen - this includes the mainland and all islands. If you’re in Yemen, the website reveals you should leave immediately.
