Religion carries a long history of civilization of human race .Religion means  deep beliefs.Beliefs and faith reminds the supernatural,spiritual power God, creation of earth.There are about 21 major world religions today.Hinduism began from 1500 BC and considered as the  oldest organized religion in the world.It is the third largest religion in the world .

Out of 850 millions Hindu followers (94.30% are in India,2.3% in Nepal,1.3% in Bangladesh 0.4% in Indonesia,0.2% in  Malaysia, 0.1% in Srilanka, 0.3% in Pakistan,0.2% in US ,0.1% in Myanmar & 0.1% in UK.Nepal a country in south Asia which consists of culture, tradition, politics and heritage along with amazing diversities. In contest of Nepal as per the census of 2011, 81.3% of the total population practice Hinduism .Around 2.3% of the worlds Hindus are in Nepal.

 MuktiNath
The Muktinath temple is situted in the highest place of the world at an altitude of 3749m. It is the Hindus greatest pilgrimage.For particapate the temple as Lord Vishnu.Buddhist also worships as scared pilgrimage. Muktinath,Mukti means Nirvana and Nath means God.There is belief that Visiting & bathing in the 108 scared taps will relieve all miseries and sorrows . Devotees and pilgrims from all over Nepal and adjoining India come here to take a ritual dip at the confluence.
Ruru chhetra:TheVaranass of Nepal  Riddi Hrishikesha Tirtha, a very holy place falls in Palpa, Gulmi and shyanga District.The Ruru chhetra  prominent pilgrimage site situated at the holy confluence of  Kali Gandaki. Hundreds and thousands of pilgrims come to make religious offerings and take a holy dip.
Baraha kshetra: The Historically and archeologically religious place Baraha kshetra,lies in Sunsari district where the mighty Sapta Koshi River emerges from the mountains and meets Kokaha Rivers.As per the Hindu mythology lord bishnu take the wild boar form to kill the golden one eyed demon Hiranyaksha and saved the earth from drowning in the Sea. Hindus gather here in Paush New Moon (Nov.- Dec.) for religious rituals. Every six years  Ardha Kumbha Mela is held and thousands of  pilgrims come for religious rituals worshipping of the God and for holy dip.
 Pashupatinath
The most sacred pilgrimage in Nepal Pashupatinath Temple is located at the bank of the river Bagmati. The pagoda style,Pashupatinath temple is  listed a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1979.One of the most significant hindutemple Pashupatinath is Dedicated to Lord Shiva and symbolizes the beginning of human settlement in the plains of Kathmandu valley.
