Kathmandu

Pokhara flight to Jomsom (2,713m)

-Jomsom headquarters of Mustang. The main attraction of Jomsom Valley consist of the Thini Village, The shyangvillage, Marpha Village, The Thumba lake many monasteries .

-Jomsom to Kagbeni (2,810m) ~ approximate 3 hours trek in the bank of kaligandaki river. The barren lands by the side of river remind the Desert. The starting point of Upper mustang is kagbeni.The trek to mustang requires special trekking permit.

The Restricted Area Upper Mustang Starts

-Kagbeni to Chussang (2,920m) ~approximate 5 hours walk in the bed path of kaligandaki river. The salt water pond & soda water pond in the narrow bypass of hills is so famous in the area.

Chhusang to Ghiling (3,500m) ~Approximate 7hours.

Ghiling to Ghami (3,520m) ~ Approximate 6 hours

Ghami to Tsarang (3,650m) ~ Approximate 6 hours

Tsarang to Lo Manthang (3,770m) ~ Approximate 6 hours

-Lomanthang ,the wonder of the world, is enlisted in UNESCO world heritage site. The medieval city was the capital of the ancient kingdom of Mustang.The main attraction in the place is the life style of people infuse by Tibetan culture, the caves,ancient monasteries,the barren lands,The kings palace.

Lo-manthang to Ghami 3500m. ~Approximate 7hours.

Ghami to Samar 3400m. ~Approximate 5 hours.
Samar to Tetang3000m. ~Approximate 5hours.
Tetang to Mukthinath Temple(3710 m) ~Approximate 7hours.

Back to Jomsom via Kagbeni ~Approximate 5hours.
