Qatar : Star of the Middle East

The state of Qatar occupies a small peninsula with an area of 11,437 square kilometers. The peninsula roughly stretches 160 kilometers north into the Persian Gulf from the Arabian Peninsula. Saudi Arabia is to the west and the United Arab Emirates to the south of Qatar . The country is mainly barren. The capital city lies on the bay and is the cultural and economic epicenter of the country. The main cities of Qatar are Doha, Al Khor, Al Wakrah  , Dukhan, Ras Laffan, Umm Bab.

Qatar attractions include a variety of man made as well as natural attractions scattered all over the country .The main tourist attractions &places of interested sights in Qatar are Souq Waqif, Al-Zubarah, Traditional Fishing Villages ,Al Jassassiya , Khor Al Adaid, Beaches, parks, Doha Zoo, Islands, Museum of Islamic Art, Qatar National Museum.

Souq Waqif   is the standing market in the gulf narrow streets &traditional architecture. Al -zubarah is the ancient village with traditional housing .The local museum in the village presents the history of the town.Khor Al Adaid is the most spectacular landscape in Qatar. The Tourist enjoy camping ,camel riding and sand skiing.
