.Boston Police are reporting two people dead and  dozens were injured  after two explosions hit the Boston Marathon near the finish line.Two explosions happened at about 2:50 p.m., more than two hours after the first of the race's nearly 27,000 runners had crossed the finish line .A  explosion fireball rose from behind spectators and a row of flags .
On the south side of the city a third incident at the John F. Kennedy Library ,a fire erupted at the JFK Library, three miles away, but no one was injured .

After the explosions, cellphone service was shut down in the area to prevent any possible remote explosive detonations ..President Obama was quickly notified of the blasts, and his administration was immediately in contact with state and local authorities to offer support for the investigation and response.President Obama to address the nation at 6:10 pm today
